Position Summary

This position reports to the Site Director and will be directly responsible for overseeing and optimizing all activities related to a supply chain. This includes production planning, new products releases, ERP system master data management, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.

This role collaborates closely with the Sales, Marketing, Brands Teams, and Manufacturing plant.

The Supply Chain Manager must have leadership skills, excellent communication capabilities, and a focus on continuous improvement and sustainability, also managing the necessary resources to ensure compliance with performance objectives, customer needs, and respecting safety and quality standards for the Site.

This position will play an integral role in inspiring a high-performance culture as well as enabling the Company’s vision, mission, and values across the company.

Essential Tasks, Duties, & Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop long-term strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs in the supply chain.
  • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.
  • Data Analysis: Use analytical tools to evaluate supply chain performance and make informed decisions based on data.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination
  • Risk Management
  • Manage resources to ensure compliance with production plans focused on achieving the level of service requested by the client.
  • Manage resources to ensure the supply of materials according to established objectives.
  • Manage resources to ensure compliance with new product releases according to customer requirements.
  • Consolidate department indicators and coordinate analysis in case of deviations, implement action plans.
  • Develop technical skills and leadership competencies within the team.
  • Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: new product releases, components and raw materials procurement, production planning, and ERP system Master Data.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years in planning, supply chain, product development, demand planning
  • Administration, procurement techniques and planning, project management
  • APICS certification (wanted)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English and Spanish fluently with high proficiency
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized ability to multi-task
  • Appreciation for a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to think creatively and comfortably providing input around innovation & new concepts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be a talented developer of your team
