Job Summary

This position requires an analytically focused individual who is eager to study and take part in supply chain projects for BlueGrace customers. The ideal candidate does not need existing work experience, however, that would be a plus. This role is a first step for someone interested in pursuing a career in engineering and developing a stronger skillset that leverages highly technical skills.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Someone in this role will spend the majority of their time in spreadsheets, rating programs, and other types of data management tools.
  • Some of the duties include but are not limited to:
    • Querying shipment data from multiple systems.
    • Rating shipments with different rating softwares.
    • Managing datasources to support dashboards.
    • Auditing contract accuracy.
  • The person in this role will provide reports to internal customers through the day, nearly each day. It will be expected of them to be able to answer follow-up questions with some supervision required.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) with a focus in Mathematics, Engineering, or Supply Chain
  • Analytical thinker with creative tendencies
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and query-based systems
  • Possess a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, most importantly Excel
  • Ability to effectively manage a wide variety of tasks simultaneously and often with time conflicting pressures
  • Demonstrated ability to work productively and effectively in a team environment
  • Experience in creating and publishing reports and/or access to reports on a timely basis
