  • 8+ years of engineering experience with a focus on quality management.

What Will You Do?

  1. Lead and Inspire: Manage and develop a dedicated team of Supplier Quality Engineers, guiding them to excellence in their roles.
  2. Strategic Contributor: Define targets and objectives for the team, contributing to the overall strategic development of Supplier Quality.
  3. Drive Performance: Utilize quality tools such as PRB and Six Sigma to enhance supplier performance management.
  4. Build the Best Team: Foster a collaborative environment where team members can thrive. Coach and support your team in achieving their ambitions and obtaining quality tool certifications (SAM, Six Sigma, Project Management, PRB).
  5. Embrace Digital Transformation: Deploy supplier quality best practices by integrating digital tools and technologies.
  6. Lead Improvement Projects: Coach supplier improvement projects and PRB initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  7. Mitigate Risks: Identify potential supplier risks and implement mitigation strategies to enhance supply chain resilience.

Qualifications - External

What Qualifications Will Make You Successful?

  2. Leadership Experience: Proven ability to manage a team of 5+ in a virtual setting.
  3. Automotive Quality Experience: Familiarity with automotive quality standards is a plus.
  4. Lean Six Sigma Certification: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Black Belt preferred.
  5. Supply Chain Knowledge: Strong understanding of supply chain processes, manufacturing methodologies, and problem-solving techniques.
  6. Purchasing and Financial Acumen: Knowledge of SSQM processes and financial aspects of purchasing.
  7. Extensive Experience: 8+ years of engineering or equivalent experience, with a background in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing, auditing, and ISO/TS audits.
  8. Accountability: Capable of managing staffing, project delegation, performance management, work planning, task delegation, and salary reviews for exempt salaried employees.
  9. Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Operations; a Master’s degree is preferred. English advanced is a must.
