Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience is required.

Main Responsibilities

1. Execute supplier assessment audits for prospective and current suppliers and work with suppliers to implement corrective actions.
2. Lead or participate in large-scale supplier quality improvement projects.
3. Develop commodity quality strategies and related projects.
4. Support the development, deployment, and execution of supplier quality training initiatives.
5. Support and represent the quality function in sourcing strategies.
6. Lead cross-functional teams to find innovative solutions to business problems.
7. Act as a liaison between the Enterprise Quality team and Deere units.
8. Support assigned commodity quality deployment projects.

Skills Needed

1. Knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes.
2. Understanding of Supply Management / Strategic Sourcing systems and processes.
3. Experience with quality audits (e.g., JDS-G223, PVA, SPA).
4. Proficiency in data gathering and analysis, including statistical methods.
5. Experience with 8D problem-solving methodology.
6. Familiarity with quality tools such as FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and Statistics.
7. Project management experience, especially in supplier improvement projects.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Six Sigma certification.
2. Lead auditor certification.
3. Knowledge and experience with GD&T.
4. Statistics and quality methodologies.
5. Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
