Vertiv is seeking a Quality Engineer to support data-driven supplier issue resolution and lead cross-functional corrective actions. You will participate in NPDP projects, develop 8D reports, and collaborate with Engineering, Service, Manufacturing, Sales, and Supplier Quality to resolve quality issues affecting suppliers.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of equivalent experience, with strong data analytics and reporting skills, including Excel, SQL, and Power BI.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required with 3-5 years of equivalent experience.
• Solid experience in a quality engineering environment.
• Data analytics and reporting experience; data entry proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Support determining the data driven top supplier field issues list, verify an owner is assigned and status is reported weekly.
• Lead cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions through problem solving process. Evaluate completed corrective actions and ensure effectiveness of actions.
• Visit suppliers to proactively see installations and document improvement needs and initiate corrective action.
• Request and approve PPAP documents from suppliers.
• Evaluate potential new suppliers by conducting on-site audits and scoring of Quality Management System.
• Present reports on Quality performance and status updates to management.
• Develop 8D and Supplier reports; communicate outcomes; work with Engineering, Service, Manufacturing, Sales, Offering Management, and Supplier Quality to resolve issues.
• Execute Quality Engineering responsibilities on NPDP projects; track issues and ensure resolution; manage risk plans.
