Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Supplier Quality Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Supplier Quality Engineer, the Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for supplier development in a manufacturing or service process; works with suppliers to continuously improve performance, implement process controls, and develop quality assurance plans.

What a typical day looks like:

• Initiates corrective action requests as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion.
• Assists with development and implementation of quality audits.
• Analyzes reports and returned products and recommends corrective action.
• Approves product, process, and equipment qualifications.
• Participates in meetings with CFT.
• Supports Product Engineers and Quality Program Managers with customer interfaces on quality-related issues.
• Acts as a communication channel with the client (Complaints, solutions). Client point of contact.
• Prepares weekly Customer Quality reports.
• Participates in Customer Quarterly Business Review meetings.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Engineering Bachelor's degree.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience preferably in electronics.
• Failure analysis skills.
• Knowledge of SMT (PCBA processes).
• Knowledge of PPAPs.
• Problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5Why, Process mapping).
• Knowledge of QCP / FMEA.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Client communication experience.
