Yanfeng Seating is the worldwide leader in automotive seating with more than 33,000 employees in 20 countries. We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to establish and update supplier quality agreements, approve PPAPs after mass production, and drive continuous improvement with key suppliers.

• Minimum 5 years SQE experience in automotive industry.
• Familiar with IATF16949 requirements.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with APQP/PPAP/SPC/MSA/FMEA.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and update quality agreements with suppliers for postpartum products.
• Approve PPAP of suppliers after mass production.
• Prepare incoming product inspection docs and train inspection staff.
• Address supplier quality issues with containment and follow-up.
• Audit products and processes after supplier engagement.
• Monitor key and risk suppliers via MQR meetings and containment levels.
• Summarize supplier performance with supplier development to improve quality.
• Ensure mastery of the five quality tools per client requirements.

At this moment we are seeking:

Supplier Quality Engineer

• Establish and update the quality agreement of postpartum products to ensure the suppliers reach the relevant requirements.
• According to the submission requirements, responsible for PPAP (production part approval procedure) approval of suppliers after mass production.
• Formulated incoming product inspection documents and conducted job training and assessment for inspection personnel.
• Responded quickly to supplier quality problems found in the purchase, site and customer, took containment measures, and followed up to solve them.
• Monitored the completion of post-production type test for supply.
• Responsible for product audit and process audit after supply consultation.
• Monitoring and management of key and risk suppliers by means of MQR meeting, level 1 / level 2 containment.
• Collected and summarized the performance of each supplier and worked with the supplier development engineer to improve the product quality and process capability of the supplier.
• Work ability shall meet the specific requirements of the client, such as: master five quality tools (APQP/PPAP/SPC/MSA/FMEA).

Education:

At least 5 years SQE experience in automotive industry.

Familiar with IATF16949 requirements

Fluency in English, both verbal and written (interview will be in English)

Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, excellent teamwork spirit
