This position reports to

Global Supply Quality Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of supplier assessments, drive both corrective and preventive actions based on supplier maturity and performance levels. You will manage operational supplier quality, both on-site and off-site, ensuring thorough execution of supplier qualification and development processes. You will also manage the supplier’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

The work model for this role is: Remote. Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered. This position contributes to the Electrification Installation Products division in Mexico and USA. Your main accountabilities include:

1. Driving the approval process for supplier parts, materials, and project subcontractor services, involving collaboration with other functions, including activities like Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and product surveillance at supplier manufacturing sites.
2. Leading in promptly addressing supply issues related to quality, deliveries, non-compliant products, or project services.
3. Collaborating with buyers to engage suppliers and prepare claims cases when necessary.
4. Ensuring thorough execution of supplier development processes to drive continuous improvement of the supplier base.

Qualifications for the role

• 3+ years of experience in a Quality Supplier role or related.
• Experience with supplier audits and corrective action plans.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• IATF auditor experience is a plus.
• A valid American visa and passport are desirable.
• Availability to travel nationally and internationally.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
