Solera Corporation is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead multiple squads of Software Development Engineers in Mitikah, Mexico City. This role requires a strong background in software engineering and leadership skills to deliver high-quality, scalable applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Agile methodologies, middleware applications, and cloud solutions. A relocation package is available for qualified candidates from other states in Mexico.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years managing a team of Software Engineers.
• Combined 10 years of experience as a Software Engineer and Lead.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Manager to lead multiple squads of Software Development Engineers, build complex web and enterprise applications, and ensure high‑quality, scalable, maintainable, secure, and performant software.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple software development squads focused on maintaining products and meeting service level agreements.
• Define expectations and develop metrics to monitor results.
• Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to the team.
• Coach, train and provide regular feedback to the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve the team’s technical impediments.
• Suggest improvements to current processes and technologies.
• Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to manageable & measurable tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years managing a team of Software Engineers.
• Combined 10 years of experience as a Software Engineer and Lead.
• Prior work experience in Agile DevOps tools and workflows such as Jira, Bamboo, Concourse.
• Experience developing middleware applications using technologies such as Mongo, Redis, Elastic Search, SQL Server, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Rabbit MQ, React JS.
• Performance engineering and educating teams on non‑functional requirements to achieve web‑scale.
• Strong background in the SaaS space preferred.
• Domain‑Driven Design and Micro‑service architectures.
• Experience with HTTP, AMQP, MQTT and other modern protocols.
• Experience with API (REST, SOAP), .NET Core, C#, NoSQL Databases, Middleware, Security, Performance tuning of applications.
• Experience with Cloud Solutions like Azure.

Location & Relocation

This role is based in Mitikah, Mexico City.

Open to candidates residing in other states of Mexico; relocation package provided in accordance with company policy.
