A global manufacturing company is seeking a Security Manager in Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years' experience in plant protection or asset security roles. Role

Manages the development and implementation of processes, programs, and staff for security manufacturing and industrial sites, materials, and information.

What You Will Do
  • Creating and enhancing policies and procedures for screening contractors, vendors, non-company drivers, and other authorized outsiders have equal levels of access.
  • Leading and overseeing emergency planning and response for security-related emergencies and crises.
  • Overseeing assessments for potential security-related risks, including bomb threats, fire alarms, sabotage, workplace violence, intrusion alarms, activist disruption, contamination, etc.
  • Implementing and monitoring programs and initiatives designed to prevent unauthorized access to information and premises.
  • Manages and oversees foreign travelers.
Degree Requirement
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a field related to the position
  • English Intermediate
What skills the ideal candidate will have
Safety, Injury Prevention, and Emergency Procedures
  • Internal handling of the office package
  • Required Background a minimum of two years in roles related to plant protection and/or asset security.
  • Knowledge to administer basic first aid.
  • Ability to identify hazards and follow universal precautions for injury prevention.
  • Performs activities related to injuries, illnesses, and emergency protocols.
  • Conduct incident investigations and assess the factors that contribute to them.
Emergency Management
  • Strong skills in plant-level emergencies, evacuation procedures, and facility closures.
  • Knowledge in planning and management of different types of emergencies and coordination of emergency brigades at plant level.
  • Solid knowledge of procedures in case of emergencies.
  • Management of the network and emergency communication equipment, as well as the role of the communications center.
Plant Security
  • Knowledge and management of existing monitoring systems and security technologies to detect possible leaks or fraud.
  • Ability to train others on the apprehension and arrest of thieves, vandals, or saboteurs.
  • Advanced management of all major types of security practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Ability to conduct internal research.
  • Evaluate alternative tools and technologies for loss prevention.
  • Leads initiatives and practices to engage staff in safety efforts.
