Sensata is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to guide activities in production areas to meet goals for production, quality, and cost efficiency. The role requires directing operations, staffing, and scheduling to optimize processes and ensure compliance with quality standards.

The successful candidate will lead a team in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with suppliers and customers, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing functions.

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for the implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.

General Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all manufacturing operations of production, machinery, processing, and packaging departments
• Arranges priorities based on production introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials
• Creates schedules and staffing requirements based on determined priorities
• Reviews manufacturing and quality control standards
• Develops and implements activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives

Experience / Qualifications

• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
• Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
