Una empresa de tecnología en Querétaro busca un Supervisor de Producción para liderar actividades de manufactura y asegurar la entrega oportuna de productos de calidad. Se requieren habilidades en gestión de personal y mejora continua, con 2-3 años de experiencia en un entorno de manufactura. Se ofrece un ambiente dinámico y oportunidades de desarrollo profesional.

Formación

  • 2-3 años de experiencia en un entorno de manufactura o ingeniería relacionado.
  • Conocimientos en ISO 9000-2000, ISO 14001 y sistemas de gestión.
  • Actitud positiva hacia actividades de mejora continua.

Overview

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Supervisor de Producción.

What You’ll Do

Authority: PPE approvals, personnel management (vacations, permission, overtime, etc), materials management, Quality system approvals.

Job Summary

Lead, facilitate and coordinate production activities and resources management according to established practices and or policies within their job area to ensure the timely delivery of quality parts that meet or exceed customer expectations. Promote the continuous improvement process and a safety culture.

Job Responsibilities
  • Implements, promotes and maintains a safe work environment by promoting a culture of accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and administer risk and danger in own area.
  • Prepare report daily production status.
  • Coordinate, leverage, and utilize appropriately resources to resolve manufacturing problems, improve processes and meet external and internal customer demands.
  • Provide and implement training that will enable personnel to better perform.
  • Coordinate and administer employees: attendance, punctuality, overtime, vacations, and permissions.
  • Act as a business partner by planning, initiating, leading, measuring, monitoring and assessing continuous improvement programs and manufacturing process improvements by applying appropriate Eaton Business Systems (EBS) processes and problem-solving tools such as ELS (Eaton Lean System) and 5s.
  • Maintain and report accurate inventory numbers while continually seeking ways to reduce work in progress (WIP) inventory levels and maximizing product flow while identifying and implementing cost out opportunities.
  • Participate in setting, communicating and achieving department goals and develop and maintain performance metrics as required to monitor results and use those results as a tool to identify and initiate process improvements within own work area. Coordinate and/or participate in continuous improvement teams in own or other areas to enhance plant results.
  • Supervise the identification of material non-conforming of their staff, at least once at shift.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources in the selection, promotion, counseling and termination of employees using Eaton guidelines and policies.
  • Monitor machinery, equipment and facility and initiate maintenance work orders as required, to ensure safe working conditions, efficient and effectiveness.
  • Promotes the company’s vision by actively supporting Eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies.
  • Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote engagement & participation to achieve results (Hi5 & Turnover, etc).
Qualifications

Education level required Engineering degree or related fields required.

Years and area of experience required 2-3 years experience desired in a related manufacturing or engineering environment.

Technical knowledge ISO 9000-2000, ISO 14001, Management systems, Participate in and demonstrate positive attitude towards COP’s, RIE, Value stream mapping and other Continuous improvement activities, Health and safety programs.
