Production Supervisor, Your New Opportunity?

As a Production Supervisor, you will manage production priorities and the team daily in the field to ensure the smooth operation of activities. This is to guarantee that intermediate or finished products are delivered according to established timelines, while following safety, quality, cost, and service level standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the correct use of production equipment and compliance with the production schedule.

  • Execute manufacturing procedures and comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

  • Maintain clean and safe areas, and manage the delivery of equipment for maintenance.

  • Investigate and document process deviations and prepare incident reports.

  • Propose technical and operational improvements.

EHS:

  • Comply with EHS procedures and promote workplace safety.

  • Keep staff informed about safety events and report incidents.

  • Lead health and safety initiatives, and act as incident commander.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Lead continuous improvement activities (SOED, 5S) and promote improvement projects.

  • Comply with improvement certifications (Green Belt, Yellow Belt).

Engineering and Maintenance:

  • Ensure the proper use and protection of facilities and equipment.

  • Create maintenance notifications and ensure proper operation during pilot runs.

Quality Assurance and Control:

  • Maintain quality standards and comply with GMP requirements.

  • Apply quality procedures and follow up on delivered products.

Learning and Development:

  • Ensure employees acquire necessary skills and manage their training.

  • Evaluate skills and ensure participation in training courses.

People Management:

  • Lead by example and create an efficient work environment.

  • Manage team performance, resolve issues, and plan schedules.

  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and manage employee vacations.

You:

  • Chemical or Industrial Engineer with experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or food plants.

  • Experience in operating reactors, distillation columns, and handling hazardous materials.

  • Knowledge in services related to production plan follow-up.

  • Training in emergency brigades, and fire-fighting techniques and first aid.
