GENERAL SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking MFG Staff to join our rapidly expanding team in Mexicali, Mexico, as part of the new LG Electronics Washing Machine (F/L, T/L) and Dryer factory.

The Manufacturing Manager plans, schedules, coaches, mentors, and motivates Manufacturing Team Members. Ensures production schedules are met while maintaining high performance and quality standards. Directs and coordinates the activities of the Manufacturing Department in processing materials and manufacturing products. Supports safety initiatives and compliance training.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify areas of opportunity and develop strategies to improve productivity, quality, and employee engagement.
• Understand key performance indicators that support continued business growth; manage and direct all production and quality activities to ensure a safe work environment; responsible for creating and executing a culture of continuous improvement.
• Achieve daily, monthly, and annual production targets.
• Lead and develop a high-performance team.
• Adhere to yearly budget and execute plans to meet financial goals.
• Ensure assembly products meet or exceed profit goals.
• Align production to forecasts, reduce labor expenses, and track and escalate issues as necessary.
• Establish and promote a safe working environment; monitor compliance activities to support the safety program.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
• 2-3+ years of manufacturing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of production systems.
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing principles.
• Occasional overseas travel may be required.
