Placements24 is seeking an experienced Supervisor de Logística y Almacenamiento to oversee daily warehouse operations in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca. Lead a team, optimize processes, and ensure safety and efficiency across receiving, storage, and shipping.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in warehouse supervision, strong leadership, and solid experience with warehouse management systems and inventory controls; on-site work in Oaxaca is required.

About the Role

Our client, a dynamic regional distributor, is seeking an experienced and motivated Supervisor de Logística y Almacenamiento to oversee their operations in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca . This role is critical for managing daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and the safe handling of goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff, optimizing processes, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Manage and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to procedures and safety standards.
• Oversee inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock checks.
• Ensure efficient space utilization and maintain an organized warehouse environment.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and best practices within the warehouse.
• Coordinate with transportation providers for timely inbound and outbound shipments.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning of warehouse systems.
• Resolve operational issues and discrepancies promptly and effectively.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment for the warehouse team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or a similar logistics role.
• Proven experience in inventory management, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift and move goods as required.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing operations.
• Must be willing to work on-site in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca .
