This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory levels, optimizing stock rotation, and implementing efficient inventory control procedures to support smooth logistical operations. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of inventory within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Implement and refine inventory control procedures, including cycle counting, stock takes, and discrepancy resolution.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software to track inventory movements, levels, and status.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels to meet operational needs while minimizing carrying costs.
• Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment and fulfillment of orders.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain reports on inventory accuracy, turnover rates, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols related to inventory storage and handling.
• Train and guide warehouse staff on proper inventory management practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in inventory management, preferably within a logistics or warehouse environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control techniques and best practices.
• Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and advanced Excel skills.
