Job Overview

This position will provide Costing and Operational support for the Focus Factory Managers, provide an individual business analysis with various accounting issues, forecasting, planning, controls, etc. and will report to the Finance Manager. Other responsibilities include ensuring strong control of the environment and execution of productivity and other improvement actions.

A Day In The Life

• Maintain robust controls throughout the businesses and help to identify and address potential risks in a timely manner.
• Ensure monitoring daily through reports as Manufacturing Expenses as Operational expenses, repair and maintenance, and people cost.
• Complete monthly closing journal entries and account reconciliations with all business units and plants.
• Prepare Monthly financial business analysis, monthly forecast and provide commentary on result bridges (monthly, quarterly, YOY as well as sequential bridges, including Price/Cost/Productivity) for all Commercial Construction and Industrial business units and Share Services.
• Coordinate weekly latest projection for all business units and Share Services.
• Monitor with Cost accounts Analyst to ensure the correct forecasting EOM.
• Coordinate with support areas the expenses trend.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assisting with department spending analysis and facility budgets and forecasts.
• Reviewing, analyzing and updating standard product costs as they relate to labor, material and overhead.

What will help you thrive in this role?

• 5 years manufacturing experience.
• At least 3 years in a people managing role.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting, auditing, and related experience, of which at least 5 years must be in general accounting and cost accounting.
• SAP experience with finance or cost module.
• Understanding of US GAAP.
• Computer/System Skills.

Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint), particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
