Responsibilities:

• Support failure analysis of Reliability, STR and Qual related failures using the F/A tools or machines available in the laboratory.
• Review all pertinent details such as data logs or CSV of failing parts versus Bin 1 reference, circuit/bonding diagrams/netlist before conducting bench tests using curve tracer and network analyzer to validate the highlighted failure mode.
• Communicate to the Design team if there are failure modes that need to be isolated.
• Perform all necessary F/A process flows such as external visual, curve trace, RF bench, X-ray, thermal analysis, IR inspection, probe test, and emission microscopy.
• Generate a comprehensive report correlating the highlighted failure mode to assist assembly and test in root cause analysis.
• Coach co-workers, particularly those analysts that need technical help.

Minimum Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience as an F/A Engineer.

Technical and Communication Skills:

1. Good communication skills, particularly in English (90% or more), as communication will be required directly with design and reliability engineers in other Skyworks sites.
2. In-depth knowledge of circuit analysis and RF technology, along with good experience using F/A tools such as curve tracer, network analyzer, thermal analysis, and emission microscope.
3. Good background in assembly and wafer fab processes.
