Bombardier in Mexico is seeking a Student, CNC Operations to support the CNC Operations Leader, analyze operational data, track KPIs, and coordinate cross-functional activities within the El Marqués Industrial Park Plant.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing and 5S, with on-site work from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and opportunities to develop data reporting skills using Power BI and ERP tools.

Formación

• You are pursuing a degree in Industrial, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field and nearing completion.
• You have English proficiency to communicate in basic professional contexts.
• You can read and interpret manufacturing drawings, GD&T, and basic tolerances in metal-mechanical environments.
• You are familiar with MS Office, Power BI, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• You know continuous improvement tools like Lean Manufacturing and 5S.

Responsabilidades

• Support the CNC Operations Leader by analyzing operational data, tracking KPIs, coordinating cross-functional activities, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support daily follow-up of machining area activities.
• Monitor production plan adherence and performance metrics.
• Update performance reports for production lines, machines, and cells.
• Coordinate activities between Production, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.
• Develop and maintain databases for KPI tracking and reporting.
• Analyze productivity, efficiency, scrap, rework, and downtime trends.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and 5S projects.
• Prepare materials and presentations for operational meetings and reviews.
• Track completion of corrective actions and improvement projects.

• You are currently pursuing a degree in Industrial, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, and are nearing completion of your professional studies.

• You have an English proficiency level that allows you to communicate effectively in basic professional contexts.

• You have experience reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and basic tolerances within a metal-mechanical manufacturing environment.

• You have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Power BI, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).

• You are familiar with continuous improvement tools and manufacturing process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and problem-solving techniques.

• You possess strong data analysis and reporting skills, and experience with Power Apps development is considered an asset.

• You are available to work on-site for at least 6 hours per day. The company’s work schedule and transportation service operate Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

• Location: El Marqués Industrial Park Plant, Querétaro, Mexico.
