Formación

• 4-8 años de experiencia en diseño de revestimientos y/o ingeniería de estructuras especiales.
• Bilingüe (inglés y español) con excelentes habilidades de comunicación.

Responsabilidades

• Diseñar soluciones de revestimiento con un equipo de ingenieros y diseñadores.
• Realizar cálculos estructurales en el diseño y análisis de componentes de revestimiento.

Responsibilities

Walter P Moore in Mexico City is looking for a Full Time Specialty Structures Engineer with 4+ years of experience in engineering enclosure systems, light-weight, long-span, complex and specialty structures.

• Work with a team of engineers and designers to design primary and secondary cladding solutions.
• Interface with Structural Engineering and Enclosure Engineering practices.
• Interface with both Clients and Contractors.
• Lead project development.
• Perform structural computations in the design and analysis of steel, aluminum, glass, cladding panels, or other miscellaneous enclosure components.
• Create analysis models and interpret results for Technical Designers and Clients.
• Assist with construction administration tasks, including site visits and shop drawing review.
• Assist with design drawings, quantities, specifications, reports and other project deliverables.
• Prepare technical studies and reports.

Qualified candidates should possess a high energy level and be self-motivated professionals who can work within a strong team environment, serving clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally. Technical specialization and leadership when meeting clients and for project needs are pluses.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in cladding design and/or specialty structures engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE)
• S.E. in Structural Engineering
• Experience with Structural Analysis Software (SAP, Strand 7, GSA, Mepla, or similar)
• Working knowledge of Modelling Software (Grasshopper, Rhino, Revit, Dynamo, Tekla)
• Long Span Structures and membranes engineering experience is preferred.
• Must be bi-lingual (English & Spanish)
• Demonstrated strength in providing excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills.
