SSOE is seeking a senior structural engineer in León, Mexico, to deliver high‑quality steel, concrete, masonry, and wood designs for industrial facilities. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams across regions and leverage advanced BIM tools.

The role requires 6–10 years of experience, EN proficiency, and familiarity with ETABS/SAP2000/STAAD/RISA, AutoCAD, and Revit. Hybrid work model supports work‑life balance and international project exposure.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering with a structural emphasis.
• Master degree in structural engineering preferred.
• 6-10 direct years of structural engineering experience.
• Industrial/manufacturing building project experience preferred (data centers/pharma).
• Proficiency with ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD, RAM, RISA or similar.
• Experience with building codes such as IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI.
• AutoCAD and Revit knowledge.
• Advanced English.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering methods on small projects or portions of larger projects.
• Receives clear instructions on assignment objectives and collaborates to derive solutions.
• Perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures for industrial facilities.
• Develop and review design calculations, models, and drawings for building frames, foundations, and platforms.
• Review equipment foundations, pipe racks, mezzanines, and support structures.
• Apply building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI).
• Work with multi-discipline teams to coordinate structural interfaces.
• Contribute to QA/QC reviews for structural deliverables.
• Review construction documents (plans, sections, details, specs).
• Prepare cost estimates and write portions of specifications.
• Perform design work on Revit and AutoCAD.
