Collins Aerospace in Mexicali is seeking a Structural Analysis professional to conduct stress and fatigue analyses of aerospace components. You will perform both hand calculations and computer-based analyses to verify design integrity.

The role requires a mechanical or aerospace engineering background with experience in FEA tools (NASTRAN/PATRAN) and proficiency in MS Office. You will collaborate with global teams to ensure robust, compliant designs and communicate findings in English.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field, with 2+ years of experience, or an advanced degree.
• Experience with FEA tools such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, or similar software.
• Experience with load paths and airframe design using metals and composites.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, or similar software applications.
• Experience with load paths and airframe design using metals and composites.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience conducting stress, and fatigue analysis of aerospace components.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.
