Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist to support supplier quality management across the supply base.

You will assess supplier performance, investigate non-conformances, and coordinate corrective actions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and ensure high standards for incoming materials and finished products. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in supplier quality or QA in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of supplier audits, quality systems, corrective actions and root cause analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Clear communication and collaboration across functions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality assurance assessments and audits of OEM/ODM suppliers.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and analyze defects and trends.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier issues.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve product quality and process control.
• Assist with incoming inspections, material rejections and supplier issue resolution.
• Review welding quality, electrical control accuracy, and machine performance longevity when applicable.
• Prepare quality reports and communicate risks and improvements to stakeholders.
• Stay current on quality standards, regulations, and best practices for supplier development.
