You will lead a skilled team, shape the technical direction, and ensure scalable, secure systems with modern tech stacks. You will mentor engineers, own major components, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in a fully remote setup.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience in backend software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior role.
• Proven expertise in designing and building complex, scalable distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Node.js) and their associated frameworks.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
• Deep understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and caching mechanisms.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire engineering teams.
• Experience working effectively in a remote, agile environment.
