Bosch México is seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Backend) for a fully remote role to drive backend architecture, build scalable services, and mentor a team of engineers. This is a remote-first opportunity with strong emphasis on distributed systems and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

You will design APIs, lead CI/CD, and work with product and frontend teams while ensuring security and reliability across complex architectures.

Formación

• 8+ years of backend software development experience, incl. 3+ years in leadership.
• Strong design of scalable distributed systems and backend architecture.
• Proficient in Python, Java, Go, or Node.js and related frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices.
• Database expertise (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ and caching mechanisms.
• Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem solving, communication, and leadership.
• Ability to work remote, Agile environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience in backend software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior role.
• Proven expertise in designing and building complex, scalable distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Node.js) and their associated frameworks.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
• Deep understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and caching mechanisms.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire engineering teams.
• Experience working effectively in a remote, agile environment.
