Molex in Nogales, Mexico, seeks a sourcing professional to manage local supplier relationships and procurement within the Cable Assembly segment. The role reports to the Division Sourcing/NPD Manager and supports BOM cost control during Product Development.

Responsibilities include category strategy execution, supplier selection, RFIs/RFPs, bid analysis, and driving low total cost of ownership. 3+ years in a similar role and SAP proficiency are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Administration or Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in a similar procurement role.
• Experience in Aerospace, Automotive or Medical industries.
• Knowledge of QS/AS/IATF quality systems.
• Strong supplier management skills.
• Familiarity with local & global supply base.
• Knowledge of Cost Estimation with Global supply base & Market Intelligence.
• Good negotiation skills and business sense.
• SAP proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Work with internal customers to identify unmet procurement needs and deliver long-term value.
• Partner with Design teams to manage BOM cost through Product Launch.
• Apply category strategies for new product sourcing needs.
• Assist in implementing new sourcing/inventory strategies during transformations.
• Proactively manage supply risks in new product development.
• Lead transformational initiatives and drive change.
• Communicate status and resolutions to customers and suppliers.
• Identify and execute opportunities to lower total cost of ownership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams at the facility.
• Conduct RFIs/RFPs, evaluate quotes, and negotiate terms with suppliers.
