LyondellBasell is seeking a procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing initiatives in the materials space from its facilities in Mexico. The role focuses on driving value with the supply base, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring governance across procurement processes.

Qualified candidates will have 4+ years in procurement, experience with chemicals or related feedstocks, and advanced English proficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree; Master’s degree preferred or equivalent.
• 4+ years in procurement, sourcing, or category management.
• Experience in raw materials sourcing (chemicals, polymers, feedstocks).
• Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
• English advanced; valid visa and passport.

Responsabilidades

• Understands strategies for assigned segments or commodities and drives initiatives to meet sourcing objectives.
• Drives productivity opportunities with the supply base to deliver value to the business.
• Supports category managers through data modeling, analysis, and new process execution.
• Ensures high ethical and financial control compliance standards are met.
• Maximizes revenue share and controls costs by responding to audits and information requests.
• Articulates procurement policies and enforces compliance.
