Innovate high-purity, high-performance chemicals and materials

Establish and drive sourcing and procurement of Engineering Services and Contingent Labor for the Solstice Advanced Materials business globally, aligned with the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan. You will be responsible for developing competitive category supply strategies to achieve the lowest total cost, reduce working capital through negotiation planning and execution, Value Engineering, Consumption Reduction, and Sole / Single Source elimination. Managing supplier performance to support your category and ensure supply quality will be key. You will oversee several projects in a dynamic environment and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Additionally, you will manage a team of 4 direct reports covering categories such as IT, finance, legal, HR, supply chain, travel, and marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Drive and execute strategic sourcing strategies for professional services, focusing on engineering services and contingent labor/staff augmentation, working with your team.
2. Optimize Total Cost of Ownership through competition, pricing, service design, consumption, and ratios of subcontractors to contract workers.
3. Manage supplier selection, RFI and RFQ processes, eAuction, negotiations, contracting, and supplier performance management.
4. Develop and manage category strategies, including spend analysis, benchmarking, cost analysis, market analysis, and tracking global technology and economic trends.
5. Ensure rigorous management of key suppliers through scorecarding, business reviews, service level analysis, and corrective actions.
6. Align with internal stakeholders to build sourcing strategies supporting both short-term and long-term engineering services needs.
7. Improve working capital through payment term extensions, payment cycle optimization, and other initiatives; assist in operational procurement escalations, reconciliations, and reporting as needed.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing of professional services and contingent labor.
• Strong category management experience (minimum 5 years).
• Experience managing a team of category managers, specialists, or analysts.
• Proven contract negotiation skills, including terms like liability limitations, warranties, indemnification, IP, security, and payment terms.
• Experience with RFPs/RFQs and Statements of Work.
• Demonstrated success in achieving category savings and working capital goals.
