Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Senior Buyer to ensure uninterrupted supply of direct materials for manufacturing operations. The role involves supplier negotiations, inventory optimization, and leading sourcing strategies across global suppliers.

You will monitor KPIs, manage RFPs, and engage with internal stakeholders to align procurement with business objectives. Strong English and analytical skills are required for a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or sourcing experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous supply of direct materials to support manufacturing operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and material coverage to prevent shortages.
• Follow up on procurement processes including SOTD, ECN, ETO, E&O, GRNI.
• Manage excess and obsolete inventory reduction initiatives.
• Negotiate delivery schedules and supply commitments with suppliers.
• Interact with international suppliers for negotiations.
• Monitor and report procurement KPIs related to supplier performance.
• Execute procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and operational plans.
• Prepare and review RFPs and supplier bid packages.
• Evaluate supplier quotations and pricing proposals.
• Approve and qualify suppliers for compliance.
• Authorize purchase orders and payments.
• Monitor supplier and contract performance for compliance.
• Support issue resolution with suppliers and internal customers.
