Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking a Purchasing/Procurement Specialist to ensure timely acquisition of tools, consumables, and spare parts for the Tool Crib, supporting production continuity and cost optimization.

The role emphasizes supplier management, inventory control, and PO follow-up. Responsibilities include sourcing quotes, evaluating suppliers, creating requisitions and POs, tracking deliveries, and coordinating with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related areas.
Advanced SAP knowledge (preferred).
Advanced Microsoft Office skills: Excel

Responsibilities

Procure tools, consumables, and spare parts for Tool Crib to support production.
Request quotations, evaluate pricing and delivery times.
Create purchase requisitions and orders, including intercompany purchases.
Follow up on orders, deliveries, and delivery dates.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishments.
Support production and maintenance with tooling and equipment needs.
