Stellantis in Mexico City seeks a Program Buyer to coordinate between Purchasing and Program teams (Engineering / Manufacturing / Cost Engineering) for Serial Life Programs. You will manage cost collaboration with suppliers, lead engineering change negotiations, and ensure program timing aligns with cost targets.

The role requires a BS in Engineering or related field and at least 5 years in purchasing, with strong negotiation and cross-functional leadership skills.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Manage changes during the evolution of the part from SOP through end of life with focus on economic impact to the part and within program timing
• Lead negotiator on engineering changes with the supplier. Confirm supplier cost and review cost and timing to ensure project targets are met or exceeded
• Lead liaison for the supplier on engineering changes, setup meetings with key internal stakeholders and supplier on as needed basis to remove any roadblocks
• Analyze supplier provided pictures and documentation. Interact with suppliers to provide direct instructions and timely feedback
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure Purchasing and Program timing deliverables are met
• Negotiate supplier's economic impacts
• Manage Cost Collaboration with supplier under timing constraint
• Achieve TPC target
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in perimeter of responsibility
