LEONI is seeking a materials planner in Hermosillo, Mexico to maintain supplier and article master data, monitor MRP results, and coordinate purchasing with suppliers. The role focuses on stock optimization and reducing obsolete inventory while supporting supplier integration and new component launches.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field and 2–3 years in material planning or supply chain, with advanced Excel skills for data analysis.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in material planning, purchasing, supply chain, or similar roles.
• Experience in supplier management, delivery performance evaluation, and logistics agreements.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).

Responsabilidades

• Maintains accurate supplier and article master data.
• Checks MRP results and sends orders to suppliers.
• Tracks supplier deliveries, identifies bottlenecks and escalates risk of shortages.
• Ensures optimum stock level for raw materials and reduces excess/obsolete items.
• Supports technical changes by ensuring ordering/deliveries of new components.
• Supports supplier integration (localization, consignment agreements, logistics agreements, delivery performance evaluation).
