iKraft Solutions LATAM is seeking a senior procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing of agro-industrial raw materials, manage supplier relationships, and mitigate supply risks. This on-site role in Morelia requires strong negotiation skills and a track record of cost optimization.

You will develop annual procurement strategy, manage budgets, oversee a procurement team, and present insights to senior management. English fluency and ERP/Power BI proficiency are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 7+ years in strategic procurement with 5+ years in a managerial role.
• Experience sourcing agro-industrial raw materials (food ingredients, edible oils, grains, etc.).
• Proven ability to negotiate high-value contracts and purchasing agreements.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international raw material markets.
• Fluent English for negotiations with international suppliers.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel, and Power BI.
• On-site availability in Morelia, Michoacán.

We are seeking a senior procurement professional with solid experience in sourcing agro-industrial raw materials, managing supply risks, negotiating with domestic and international suppliers, and ensuring the reliable flow of materials required for business continuity.

This position will lead the company’s sourcing strategy, commercial negotiations, supplier development, cost optimization, and management of risks associated with availability, quality, and price volatility.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual raw material procurement strategy.
• Manage the purchasing budget and contribute to cost and profitability objectives.
• Negotiate prices, contracts, commercial terms, and supply agreements with domestic and international suppliers.
• Analyze market trends, availability, seasonality, and price volatility.
• Develop sourcing strategies to prevent and mitigate supply disruptions.
• Identify, develop, evaluate, and manage strategic suppliers.
• Build long-term supplier relationships that ensure quality, competitiveness, and operational continuity.
• Coordinate procurement activities with Production, Planning, Logistics, Quality, and Finance.
• Ensure that all raw materials meet applicable quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Present procurement results, forecasts, savings, risks, and market insights to senior management.
• Lead and develop the procurement team.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, Business Administration, Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in strategic procurement, including 5 or more years in a managerial position.
• Demonstrated experience sourcing raw materials for the agro-industrial, food, ingredients, edible oils, oilseeds, grains, or related industries.
• Proven experience negotiating high-value contracts and purchasing agreements.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international raw material markets.
• Ability to assess risks related to pricing, availability, suppliers, foreign exchange, and supply continuity.
• Advanced English proficiency for negotiations and communication with international suppliers.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel, and analytical tools such as Power BI.
• Availability to work on-site in Morelia, Michoacán.

We Offer

• Gross monthly salary of MXN $60,000 to $70,000.
• Annual performance bonus equivalent to one month’s salary, based on KPI achievement.
