Advanced Energy is seeking a Sr. Production Planner in Mexicali, Mexico to ensure 100% on-time delivery of PCBA production and to optimize capacity, materials, and lead times.

You will coordinate production planning, material control, and shop floor scheduling, collaborating with purchasing and suppliers to resolve shortages and ensure timely deliveries. The role requires strong communication, decisive problem-solving, and experience in high mix/low volume manufacturing, with SAP familiarity.

Formación

• Present ideas clearly and persuasively in writing and verbally.
• Respond quickly and decisively to changes in demand, product description, and material demand.
• Balance multiple priorities with sound judgment and initiative.
• Three to five years of production planning or material management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in high mix/low volume, pull-based manufacturing environments.
• Previous experience with SAP.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent in related fields.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure 100% on-time delivery of PCBA production as scheduled.
• Coordinate production planning, material control, shop floor scheduling and labour capacity.
• Prepare and issue shop floor documentation to meet the Production Schedule.
• Resolve labor and material shortages and schedule interruptions.
• Communicate delays with customers and resolve delivery queries.
• Consolidate delivery commitments into an agreed order schedule.
• Process engineering change orders and new product introductions.
• Provide timely feedback to account reps and operations team.
• Lead improvement in manufacturing data accuracy.
• Analyze long lead time parts and work with purchasing on supply solutions.
• Produce KPIs and management reports.
