Job summary

Sensata Technologies is seeking a Buyer to manage material inventory, fill purchase orders, and coordinate with suppliers in a fast-paced environment. You will forecast item demand, review requisitions, and support data integrity across procurement systems.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads the supply chain manager through maintaining proper inventory levels of materials used on a regular basis.
• Responsible for the filling of purchase orders.
• Reviews all purchasing requisitions.
• Leads in the development of creating an accurate and efficient monitoring system.
• Responsible for entering data into databases or other computerized systems to maintain up-to-date supplier and vendor information, to track purchases and the status of orders and deliveries, and to generate purchasing reports and statistics.
• Leads research on potential suppliers and vendors; promotions, and other industry trends as a source of accurate and up-to-date information for purchasing activities.
