Valeo in Mexico is seeking a materials and inventory specialist responsible for maintaining optimal levels of raw materials and components. You will plan material requirements, monitor MPS, and ensure supplier deliveries align with firm orders to meet customer demand.

You will also identify blocking points, coordinate with ERP and inventory control, lead actions with suppliers, and communicate status to internal teams to sustain a smooth supply chain.

Responsabilidades

• Attend Logistics/Purchasing meetings and follow up related action plans.
• Support the implementation with tools and methods to improve supply chain organization (Pull flow, Kanban, EDI, Milk run).
• Define inbound transportation plans with External flow analyst.
• Support inventory counting and maintain accuracy with ERP and inventory control analyst.
• Alert sales in case of crises and escalate with suppliers and internal teams as needed.
• Propose logistics protocols with suppliers in cooperation with External flow analyst and Purchasing.
• Ensure backups for each supplier and train backups for continuity during holidays.
