Mars is seeking a Strategic Operations Buyer - Logistics in Mexico to lead procurement of logistics services, apply sourcing tools, and manage supplier performance. The role emphasizes collaboration with Finance and Supply Managers to achieve ambitious targets.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3+ years in procurement or sourcing, and strong SAP/Ariba skills. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field.
• Proven procurement or strategic sourcing experience, min 3 years.
• Experience with logistics services procurement is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Procure Logistics Services ensuring pricing, capacity and service levels align with strategies.
• Implement Supply Base Strategy and drive supplier development.
• Manage supply risk with robust contracts and KPI monitoring.
• Build relationships with Finance and Supply Managers to align objectives.
• Engage internal customers to align sourcing strategies with needs.
• Ensure compliance with policies, systems and controls.
• Provide market intelligence to support sourcing decisions.
• Oversee commercial, financial and ethical considerations with category managers.
• Use contract frameworks to mitigate risks and assure service coverage.
• Track KPIs such as savings and payment terms; review supplier performance.
