MKS Instruments is seeking an Inventory, Cost & Tax Specialist in Querétaro, Mexico. You will partner with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehouse, and Manufacturing to support inventory management, cost accounting, and tax compliance while ensuring accurate financial reporting.

You will reconcile inventory accounts, assist with monthly closes, analyze variances, and prepare tax schedules in compliance with VAT, ISR, and local regulations.

Qualifikationen

• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, inventory valuation methodologies, and inventory control processes.
• Experience with standard costing and financial reporting related to inventory.
• Knowledge of VAT (IVA), Income Tax (ISR), and withholding taxes.

Aufgaben

• Managing inventory accounting activities, including reconciliations, inventory valuation, cycle count reviews, and variance analysis.
• Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes related to inventory, cost accounting, and tax accounts.
• Analyzing standard versus actual costs and investigating cost variances to improve operational and financial performance.
• Preparing tax calculations, supporting schedules, tax reconciliations, and documentation required for compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with established internal controls.
• Supporting internal and external audits by providing financial analysis, documentation, and process explanations related to inventory, costs, and taxes.
