A manufacturing company located in Tecate, Baja California is seeking a Controller responsible for overseeing all financial, accounting, tax, and regulatory compliance functions as per the IMMEX program. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of progressively responsible finance experience, focusing on accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and strong cost management in a manufacturing context. This leadership position requires partnering with plant and corporate teams to promote effective financial practices and regulatory adherence.

• 8-10+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all financial, accounting, tax, and regulatory compliance functions for the Mexican manufacturing entity under the IMMEX program.
• Partner with plant leadership and corporate finance to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Act as a strategic business partner, providing financial analysis and cost management.
• Supervise federal and state tax compliance and ensure adherence to transfer pricing regulations.
• Coordinate Safe Harbor calculations and support transfer pricing documentation.
• Liaise with external tax advisors and regulatory authorities.
• Lead annual budgeting and financial forecasting with scenario analysis.
• Monitor CAPEX and working capital to ensure financial stability.
• Oversee internal and external audit processes.
• Provide leadership to the accounting and finance team.
