Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of cost accounting principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple projects with high accuracy.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; working language is English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and track production costs, labor expenses, and overhead allocations to identify cost drivers and variances.
• Prepare cost reports and variance analyses, comparing actual costs against budgeted amounts and investigating significant deviations.
• Develop and maintain cost models and forecasts to support budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and accounting teams to gather cost data and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements, presenting recommendations to management.
• Maintain and update cost accounting systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting.
