Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience managing RFQs for components in engineering or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of component cost estimation methodologies (BOM costing, should-costing, cost analysis).
• Proficiency in estimation methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Strong negotiation skills with suppliers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Experience in supplier development & management to improve performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and estimation of component costs for new product designs.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms.
• Develop and implement strategies for supplier development and management to strengthen partnerships and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Manage the relationship with suppliers, addressing any issues, and ensuring timely delivery of components for design projects.
