Copeland in Mexico is seeking a Commodity Manager to lead strategic Direct Material sourcing for Mechanical Components for the Controls & Solutions unit. You will develop sourcing strategies, drive supplier development, capacity increases, cost containment, and regionalization to improve supply assurance.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in a Procurement function or related experience.
• Strong project management skills.
• A strategic-orientated individual that achieves timely results.
• Ability to review processes and provide feedback on how to improve the processes.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets and charts.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement a Direct Material sourcing strategy to improve flexibility and supply assurance.
• Forecast containment and inflation projects for current and future years.
• Establish goals to improve trade working capital with increased payment terms, lower inventory, and shorter lead times.
• Develop a capacity and regionalization plan for each part of the commodity.
• Establish agreements with suppliers.
• Perform electronic sourcing bid events.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality to improve supplier performance (PPM).
• Effectively communicate, lead meetings, make presentations, and use tact and professionalism at all times by using core competencies.
