Copeland in Chihuahua, Mexico, is seeking a Commodity Manager to lead direct material sourcing for mechanical components within the Controls & Solutions business unit. You will design strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost containment and supply assurance across regions.

The role requires a Bachelor's, 5 years in procurement, strong project management, and the ability to travel up to 25%.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or business.
• 5 years of procurement experience.
• Strong project management skills.

• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets and charts.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement Direct Material sourcing strategy.
• Forecast containment and inflation projects for current and future years.
• Establish goals to improve trade working capital with better terms.
• Develop capacity and regionalization plan for each part of the commodity.
• Establish supplier agreements.
• Perform electronic sourcing bid events.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality to improve supplier performance.
• Lead meetings and presentations with core competencies.
• Travel up to 25%.
