Corning Inc. in Reynosa, Mexico, seeks a Capacity Modeler to maintain and improve capacity and facility space models that guide planning, expansion, and capital decisions.

You will analyze forecasted demand against available capacity and work with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Program Management, and Site Leadership to ensure accurate, actionable inputs. You will perform regular model updates, conduct scenario analysis, and support strategic manufacturing choices.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or other Engineering/Technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with forecasting and capacity planning methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Own and maintain manufacturing capacity and facility space planning models to support business and operational decisions.
• Perform regular model updates based on demand forecasts, production assumptions, labor factors, and productivity inputs.
• Analyze demand versus available capacity, identify short-, medium-, and long-term risks, and communicate potential impacts to key stakeholders.
• Conduct scenario analysis and what-if simulations to support manufacturing strategy, network planning, expansion initiatives, and investment prioritization.
