Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division seeks a Buyer to ensure competitive pricing, quality products and timely deliveries of non-production materials. The role emphasizes RFQ management, supplier selection, and cost-reduction initiatives across the supply chain.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in business or related field, at least 3 years in purchasing, and fluent English. Heavy emphasis on supplier collaboration and process improvements within a global context.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business, administration or related.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing.
• Advanced English (spoken, reading & writing).
• Cost analysis, negotiation skills, communications skill, foreign purchasing management and coordination.
• Broad knowledge in developing suppliers.
• Leadership skills and personnel development.

Responsabilidades

• Procure non-production materials (MRO) ensuring competitive prices, quality, and timely deliveries.
• Manage orders: RFQs, purchase orders, and order processing.
• Monitor supplier delivery dates and pursue releases to meet schedules.
• Review vendor selections for pricing and availability before orders.
• Foster productive supplier relationships and cost-control initiatives.
• Coordinate with plant counterparts and corporate transportation for timely shipments.
