dormakaba is seeking a Strategic Buyer in a Hybrid Model to support day-to-day procurement activities, tactical sourcing, spend analysis, and supplier relations across AMER regions. You will collaborate with Regional Category Managers to cover indirect categories and drive efficiency in procurement processes.

Ideal candidates have experience in indirect procurement within manufacturing environments, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Support Regional Category Managers (USA and Canada) in daily procurement activities and tactical sourcing initiatives.
• Execute tactical procurement activities in close collaboration with Regional Category Managers.
• Support multiple indirect procurement categories such as Professional Services, CAPEX, Facilities, Logistics, and other indirect spend categories.
• Drive and support strategic and tactical sourcing initiatives for smaller to medium spend projects (up to USD 100K).
• Provide operational procurement support for regional business needs.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable on procurement-related activities including invoice follow-up, PO matching, and payment issue resolution.
• Perform procurement-related analysis including spend analysis, savings tracking, KPI reporting, and procurement performance monitoring.
• Consolidate data into dashboards and regular management reports; monitor KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and support cross-functional procurement projects.

What You Will Do

• Support Regional Category Managers (USA and Canada) in daily procurement activities and tactical sourcing initiatives
• Execute tactical procurement activities in close collaboration with Regional Category Managers
• Support multiple indirect procurement categories, including but not limited to:
• Professional Services
• CAPEX

Consolidate and transform data into meaningful dashboards and regular management reports

Monitor and manage procurement KPIs, identify gaps, and support improvement initiatives

Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders

Support cross-functional initiatives and procurement projects

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure procurement objectives are achieved

What We Require

• Experience in indirect procurement / strategic sourcing
• Experience within a manufacturing environment

Experience Supporting Multiple Procurement Categories Preferred

• Exposure to tactical and operational procurement processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
