Boge Rubber & Plastics in Mexico is seeking a Regional Purchasing Manager to lead procurement across the Americas (Mexico, Brazil, and the US). You will shape regional sourcing strategies and drive supplier partnerships to ensure continuity and growth.

This role requires 6–8+ years in purchasing or sourcing, a Bachelor’s in a related field, strong negotiation, cost analysis, and project management under pressure, plus fluency in English and preferably Spanish/Portuguese.

• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance on launches and changes.
• Track KPIs (savings, delivery, quality, PPV) and assess supply risks.
• Align regional purchasing activities and develop the team.

About the Role

We are looking for a strategic Regional Purchasing Manager to lead procurement operations across the Americas (Mexico, Brazil, and the US). In this role, you will develop regional sourcing strategies, manage key supplier relationships, drive cost optimization, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure business continuity and competitive growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Regional Strategy: Develop and execute regional purchasing strategies aligned with global procurement goals. Standardize and streamline procurement processes across the Americas.
• Supplier Management: Lead supplier selection, evaluation, and contract negotiations (pricing, terms, SLAs). Manage performance, resolve quality/delivery issues, and build strong strategic partnerships.
• Cost Optimization: Lead cost-reduction initiatives, analyze cost structures, and leverage regional volume to achieve savings targets.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to support new product launches, engineering changes, and local industrialization.
• Performance & Risk: Track purchasing KPIs (savings, delivery, quality, PPV). Assess supply chain risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure policy compliance.
• Team Leadership: Align purchasing activities across regional sites and foster professional development within the team.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 6-8+ years in purchasing, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management - ideally within manufacturing or automotive.
• International Scope: Proven experience managing suppliers, negotiations, and cross-border teams across multiple countries.
• Skills: Strong negotiation techniques, cost analysis capability, and project management skills under pressure.
• Languages: Advanced English required. Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel within the Americas region as required.
