Aptiv PLC in Saltillo, Mexico seeks a Manufacturing Engineer focused on metal stamping, tool design, and business development. You will lead tooling improvements, create costed business cases, and partner with manufacturing, product engineering, sourcing, and finance to win new business and localization projects.

The role requires expertise in metal stamping tooling, capital investment justification, and cross-functional collaboration across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or journeyman in a related engineering field with tool design background.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Siemens NX, and Excel; Power BI is a plus.
• Experience in tool design, tooling cost estimates, and capital investments.

Responsabilidades

• Develop tooling, equipment, and process cost estimates for new opportunities.
• Create and maintain business cases for tooling, automation, and improvements.
• Evaluate opportunities with cross-functional teams for local manufacturing investments.
• Support tool launches, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with global teams to share best practices in metal stamping tooling.
