The Amazon Marketplace Strategic Account Services (SAS) organization is seeking an Account Manager to provide troubleshooting assistance and strategic recommendations to sellers enrolled in the program. As Account Manager for Onboarding you will shape the future of the organization and ensure Seller satisfaction through delivering strategic insights and relentlessly high operational standards. In this role, you will identify and execute opportunities for new selection, fulfillment, traffic and conversion drivers, brand registry, promotions and operational improvement. You will design an end-to-end process to address these opportunities in a scalable way with the help of GenAI. Our Account Managers for Onboarding drive Seller business growth by providing customized insights and recommendations, training on Premium Services platform and relevant tools, and delivering a positive experience with our programs. They are agile, inventive advocates for their Sellers’ experiences on the Amazon Store. They use root cause analysis and problem-solving skills to address Seller concerns and areas for opportunity. Key job responsibilities

  • Develop a clear understanding of the Selling on Amazon products and their functionalities, the e-commerce industry and competitive environment.
  • Train sellers in the use of Premium Services platform and other program's tools.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify, action and influence long term in order to maximize potential for your assigned inputs to improve Sellers metrics.
  • Oversee key strategic activities that are underway for the Seller, follow up, escalate and clear blockers as appropriate across multiple organizations. Advocate as the voice of the customer internally, using data and anecdotes to drive prioritization and deliver value across a larger customer set.
  • Track metrics to record the success of the Sellers inputs in your scope. Use these metrics to guide your work and uncover hidden areas of opportunity.
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews regarding progress and state of health of your inputs.
  • Create end-to-end processes to address main opportunities and use Gen AI tools to make it scalable.

Qualifications:

1. At least 5 years of sales experience in B2B software or IT services, especially already with significant achievements in cloud computing industry.

2. Familiar and have in-depth understanding for Mexican market, able to provide rich local customer resources.

3. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, able to effectively establish and maintain good customer relationships.

4. Excellent business and strategic thinking skills, able to make independent decisions in complex environments.

5. Proficient in Speaking and Writing in Spanish and English.

6. Has Alibaba Cloud-related technical certifications will be an advantage.

About the Role

Under limited supervision, this role involves leading division personnel and management in evaluating business problems and developing technological solutions, while providing expertise and maintaining standards in systems design and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Leads division personnel and management in evaluating and assessing business problems that may be solved by advanced technology.
  • Leads division personnel and management in developing alternative technological solutions.

Qualifications

  • Four (4) years business or systems experience which includes systems program management, matching business requirements to supporting system requirements, software design/development, systems training, application testing, systems migration and integration, or developing business user systems requirements.
  • Experience with either technology assessments, decision support, information business services, network design, database design or software requirements definitions. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in Java development, Angular development, and/or Android mobile development (2+ years preferred). This is a development role focused on designing and developing Java-based applications, with opportunities to collaborate and learn from experienced developers and industry experts.
  • Basic understanding of the Spring framework for application development.
  • Basic understanding of Agile software development methodologies and practices.
  • Interest in working with test automation tools, as this position may involve developing test automation alongside application development.

Preferred Skills

  • Eagerness to learn and explore Microservices architecture.
  • Experience with producing and consuming REST APIs.
  • Experience or willingness to learn AI and Machine Learning frameworks and tools.
  • Familiarity with SQL databases, Hibernate, and querying.
  • Experience with or interest in Android development.
  • Axon Framework experience or exposure to event-driven architectures, CQRS and event sourcing.
  • Curiosity and willingness to engage with DevOps practices and tools.
