A leading audio production company in Cuernavaca is seeking a Stereo Mixer to oversee voice recordings, ensure high-quality audio production, and manage client interactions. Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree. Proficiency in Pro Tools and Mac OS X is essential. Formación

• At least 2 years of experience in related industries.
• Experience in a corporate environment handling dialog for corporate/industrial videos.
• Proficiency in managing and organizing large data sets.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all aspects of voice recordings.
• Conduct quick and efficient editing, mixing, and dubbing.
• Maintain studio equipment and troubleshoot as needed.

The role of Stereo Mixer is a key player in TransPerfect, specializing in voice over recording, dubbing, editing, and mixing in a corporate setting.

The position of Stereo Mixer is essential for overseeing all aspects of voice recordings and ensuring high-quality audio production.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of voice recordings, including microphone placement, maintaining ideal sound levels, acquiring optimal acoustical environments, and coaching voice talent.
• Quick and efficient editing, mixing, mastering, dubbing, and layback.
• Ability to work well independently and with a team.
• Must have experience working directly with clients.
• Will be interfacing with clients, producers, voice talent, and project managers.
• Studio maintenance, troubleshooting, and soldering.
• Completing all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisor.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of work experience required in related industries.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
• Experience working in a corporate environment and dealing with dialog for corporate/industrial videos and phone systems.
• Experience with successfully processing, organizing, and managing large amounts of data.
• Will need to accurately label and deliver a large number of files on a daily basis.

Required Skills

• Must be able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Must be familiar with different file types, data compression, audio and video conversions, and video codecs.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English.
• Ability to effectively multitask in order to simultaneously execute multiple projects.
• Exceptional problem solving/critical thinking skills.
• Ability to maintain professionalism, focus, and results-orientation in all situations, especially under tight deadlines.
• Understanding of gain staging, signal routing, compressors, limiters, DeEsser, equalizers, and phone patches.
• Complete fluency in Mac OS X, Pro Tools, and Waves plug-ins a must.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products.
